Zong has officially introduces Zong 4G LTE network in the major cities of Pakistan. A Launch ceremony was held at PC Hotel Karachi on 27th septemer, 2014 where Zong launched 4G network in Pakistan. With the arrival of Zong latest wireless broadband 4G technology in Pakistan, it is also worth noting that Pakistan has got the privilege of becoming a fresh member of the league of 76 countries of the world that are using LTE networks.
At the launch ceremony of Zong 4G network, Dr. Fan Yunjun (CEO of China Mobile Pakistan), Dr. Zhao Peng (Chief Commercial Officer of CMPak), Mr. Sajid Mehmood & Mr. Niaz A Malik (, Strategy, Sales and ESS Zong) were present other senior officials of Zong also attended the Zong 4G launch ceremony in Karachi at PC Hotel.
Dr. Fan Yunjun stated that the technical and commercial teams of Zong Pakistan are all ready to roll out Zong 4G LTE services in 7 major cities of the country during the first phase.

Dr. Fan further said, “Zong is going to spend 1 billion dollars in Pakistan over the period of 3-4 years. Till the end of 2014, Zong will be ready to add 4,000 new cell sites to the Zong 4G network. During this period, 4G, 3G and even 2G networks will also be expanded side by side. To obtain the most excellent next-generation mobile networks, Zong is committed in building the strongest digital ecosystem in Pakistan. At present, that Zong has already added 866,000 customers on Zong 3G network.
Zong Customers Need To Get 4G Enabled Sims To Use 4G Network:
A 4G enabled Zong SIM is needed if Zong customers want to enjoy Zong 4G LTE network. Plus, they should also reside in the area where Zong 4G network is available. Zong 4G enabled Sims are available at customer care centers from next week.
