Zong is one of the leading telecom operators which are providing cellular services in Pakistan far and wide. The subsidiary of China Mobile Communications Corporation (CMCC), Zong, is the only telecom company that was successful to obtain a 4G license along with 3G one in the next generation technology auction in Pakistan. On 30th October 2014, Zong celebrated its one million 3G customers in Pakistan by presenting 2 free iPads to the 1st and the millionth Zong 3G customer.
The CEO and Chairman of Zong, Dr. Fan Yunjun, shared words regarding that objective, “I would like to congratulate everyone at Zong who has made this success achievable. At Zong, we are committed to present pioneering services to our users.”
According to Zong, 1 million customers were already crossed in the month of September of this year but the celebration ceremony was held later on 30th October. Previously, Telenor and Mobilink also announced 1 Million 3G customers crossing on their individual networks.
