Telenor Soon to Expand its 3G Network to 32 Cities by September End

In recent months after the arrival of next generation technology in Pakistan, Telenor 3G customers have been increased greatly in number. Not only this, Telenor 3G is also encouraging the application and device fashion in the country. In this regard, Telenor Pakistan has officially announced that by the end of September 2014, it will expand its 3G network to 32 cities of Pakistan.

During a media seminar in Karachi, the Chief Marketing Officer at Warid telecom made this statement of the official expansion and launch of Telenor’s 3G network n 32 far and wide regions of Pakistan. He said, “With over 35 million customers, Telenor Pakistan is geared to serve its customer in the next wave of data growth. The fourth phase of commercial rollout of 3G services across the country has been initiated to add 13 more cities to our 3G network. Our 3G footprint, comprising both urban and rural areas, is yet another testament of our ambition to bring ‘Internet for All’. We strongly believe that internet is something for the mass population of Pakistan, and not just the select few. With Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter, Line and online classified etc spurring the growth, the average data volume usage of 3G customers is more than double the average data volume of 2G users”

During the fourth phase of commercial launch of 3G network, Telenor 3G services are being launched in:
–       Attock
–       Bahawalpur
–       Bannu
–       DI Khan
–       Jhelum
–       Kohat
–       Mardan
–       Muzaffargarh
–       Okara
–       Pakpattan
–       Sahiwal
–       Wah
–       Taxila
–       Entire Rawalpindi-Lahore G.T. Road.

For 2 week period, free Telenor 3G trials will be offered to all Telenor customers in the enlisted destinations. Through an SMS and statement on Telenor Pakistan’s official website, customers will be acknowledged about the end of free 3G trials of Telenor in the above cities. Telenor customers can use 50 MBs of free data daily under the Telenor free 3G trial offer. On 2G network of Telenor, standard charges will be deducted.
