Telenor Talkshawk presents an innovative service on international roaming for all its Talkshawk customers “ Telenor Safe Reaching SMS Service”. All Telenor International roaming subscribers can send an SMS to their friends and family members informing them that they have safe and sound arrived at their intended destination without even texting a word from their handsets by availing Telenor Talkshawk Safe Reaching SMS Service.
How It Works:
- Subscribe to this service while residing in Pakistan.
- Assign the numbers who the subscribe of this service wants to send the Safe Reaching SMS.
- When landing the destination place, turn on your handset.
- On international roaming, automated Safe Reaching SMS Service will send an SMS to your desired number at the cost of merely an SMS.
Details:
- As safe reaching SMS recipients, 5 local numbers of Pakistan can be assigned.
- Both Telenor prepaid and postpaid customers are eligible to this service.
- For subscription, internal roaming service must be active.
- There are no subscription charges.
- Rs. 10+Tax per SMS will be charged.
Mechanics:
- For free subscription, simply send an SMS while still in Pakistan to “SUB” to 7890.
- Following response will be received to your number:
- You have now subscribed to the SAFE REACHING SMS service, please reply with “ADD<space>Number” to start making your Friends & Family list for free”.
- To Add a number as recipient, Send SMS “ADD<space>NUMBER” to 7890 e.g. “ADD 034Xxxxxxxx”
- Following response will be received to your number:
- “You have successfully added 034Xxxxxxxx, each SAFE REACHING SMS to this number will be charged Rs. 10 excl tax. You can add X more numbers to your list.”
- To review your recipients number list, simply send SMS “LIST” to 7890
- Following response will be received to your number:
- “Dear Customer your added numbers are;034Xxxxxxxx.To delete a number, send “DEL<space>NUMBER” to 7890″.
- To Delete a number, simply send SMS “DEL<space>NUMBER” to 7890 e.g. “DEL 034Xxxxxxxx”
- Following response will be received to your number:
- “Dear Customer, you have successfully deleted 034Xxxxxxxx. You have X slot(s) available”.
- For UN-subscription, send SMS “UNSUB” to 7890.
- Following response will be received to your number:
- “Dear Customer you have successfully unsubscribed from the SAFE Reaching SMS service”.
