Telenor Group starts new divisions with new Executives

To increase the working capacity at Head quarters and regional offices, Telenor groups which is a parent company of Telenor Pakistan has recently appointed new executives in the top ranks.

As the Executive and new members of Group Vice Presidents Executive Management (GEM) in Telenor Group, Katja Christina Nordgaard, Pål Wien Espen and Henrik Clausen has been employed. Furthermore, it has been decided by Telenor groups to merge its digital and strategy units. Not only this, a new Corporate Affairs unit will also be established as it would help to enhance the capability to meet up the requirements of Telenor customers. For the upcoming digital future f telecom industry, Telenor groups is planning to accomplish strong point and litheness with this pact.

Newly formed unit will start its working from 15th of June 2014 under the supervision of Henrik Clausen. It will be responsible for the overall strategy of Telenor Group, for driving the digital agenda f Telenor Group and for supporting the operations of Telenor Group within the space of digital services.

Katja Christina Nordgaard will be the head of newly formed Corporate Affairs unit that will start its working right from 4th of august 2014. Lars-Åke Norling has been appointed by DiGi Telecommunications as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and it will be effective from 1st august 2014, as announced by Telenor group. In Telenor Sweden, currently the position of Chief Executive Officer is hold by Norling. The position of Norling will be taken by Patrik Hofbauer from 1st august 2014 in Telenor Sweden. Currently, Patrik Hofbauer is the Chief Executive Officer of Telenor Broadcast and Canal Digital.
