Ufone increase its call setup charges from 12 paisa to 15 paisa. Earlier in march 2016, Telenor increased call setup charges to 15 Paisas and SimsPK predicted that call setup increment trend will surely be followed by other telecom networks too. Our prediction gone true and Ufone just announced to increase its call setup charges from 12 paisa to 15 paisa. Ufone took a break to made the announcement may be to avoid strictness by CCP.

Details:

  • For those who don’t know, Call Setup Charges are a type of fee that they have to pay for making a regular voice call to any network number. Plus, it does not depend on the duration of a voice call made, rather it is a type of charges that a user pays for one-time for making any voice call.
  • The new call setup charges on Ufone’s network for each call will be 15 Paisas (including tax) and it will be paid by all new, existing and MNP Ufone prepaid customers from now onwards on making calls.
  • Call setup charges of 15 paisa will be implemented on all Ufone prepaid customers from 25th march, 2016.

Notification:

The following post is updated on official website of Ufone to acknowledge its customers about increase in call setup charges to 15paisas. Ufone customers are also receiving the same note via SMS on their handsets. The notification is mentioned below:

Dear Customer, with effect from March 25th, 2016 additional charges on all calls made from Ufone prepaid packages to all local, nationwide, international, PTCL and voice buckets will be charged Rs.0.15 (inclusive of tax) per call instead of Rs.0.12 (inclusive of taxes) per call charged previously. However, this charge is not applicable on Super Card Plus, Super Card, Mini Super Card and Super Recharge Offer.
