PTCL Double Up DSL Broadband Speed For 4MB Customers To 8MB

PTCL is continuously upgrading and modifying many of its packages. This time, again, PTCL brings an advanced offer for its 4MB DSL broadband customers. PTCL announces the up-gradation of DSL broadband speeds for 4MB customers to 8MB. The best thing is that no extra charges will be charged for this upgrading of DSL broadband speed from 4MB to advanced and faster 8MB speed.

A statement was written regarding it on the official website of PTCL. According to that announcement, all PTCL’s 4MB DSL customers are upgraded automatically to 8MB DSL broadband speed. Furthermore, these customers will be able to enjoy upgraded and doubled broadband speed of 8MB till 31st January 2015 without any additional charges or fees.

From 1st February 2015 onwards, such customers will be charged Rs. 2,500/Month till 30th June 2015. Then from 1st July 2015 onwards, such customers will be charged Rs. 2,999/Month for 8MB DSL speeds.

If such customers do not want their 4MB speeds to get doubled to 8MB, then they can easily call PTCL helpline number 1236. They have to do this if they do not want to be getting charged for the charges applicable from the dates mentioned above.

Details:

  • Till 31st January 2015, these customers will be able to enjoy doubled speed of 8MB without any extra charges.
  • During the promotion period, such customers can make unlimited downloads for free.
  • From 1st February till 30th June, such customers will pay Rs. 2,500/Month for their 8MB speeds.
  • From 1st Jul 2014, valid customers will pay Rs. 2,999/Month.
  • From 1st February 2015, 200-GB download cap will be applicable.
  • For 8Mbps, Rs. 4,999/Month is set as billing cap; virtually unlimited downloads are allowed after it.
  • Call PTCL helpline number 1236 for reverting back to 4MB speeds if customers do not want to be charged for these above mentioned charges.
