This Sunday, the period of BVS process is over and finally the ban on the sales of all new SIMs of all mobile operators of Pakistan has been lifted over by PTA.

During SIM re-verification process, all 5 mobile phone companies of Pakistan including Zong, Ufone, Telenor, Mobilink and Warid were not allowed to sell any new prepaid or postpaid SIM card to their customers via any channel including franchises or retail outlets etc. however, it was allowed to mobile phone companies to sell their SIMs via the official and company owned service centers in Pakistan.
